Does a 200w solar cell need an inverter?
A 200W inverter is not enough for a 200W solar panel because they are not 100% efficient. When an inverter runs and converts DC to AC, some power is lost. Inverter efficiency ratings range from 85-95%, so you have to add 10-25% when calculating what size you need for solar panels.
